A Space to Thrive

The spaces on campus can make or break a student’s college experience. Boston is home to 35 colleges and universities, and the student population makes up about 20% of the city’s population. Northeastern University has a total student population of 44,000 in Boston alone, and its location in the heart of the city has created a reality that the demand for quality workspaces often exceeds the supply. Addressing these challenges is essential to foster academic performance and create an inclusive and efficient campus experience.

Hear what Northeastern students have to say about the lack of study and work spaces on campus.

A project by Namira Haris, Hitakshi Joshi and Claire Ogden.
